The lac museum of IINRG is a unique museum in the world dedicated to lac and its uses. The museum depicts all aspects of lac right from cultivation, lac insect predators, its uses, lac by-products, etc. Samples of lac from all over the world collected are exhibited for the visitors. Various uses of lac for cosmetics, electrical industry, dyeing of wools, coatings in medicinal formulations handicrafts, ethenic jewellery etc. are exhibited.

The Museum is open for public as well as entrepreneurs during the office hours and is a rich source of knowledge and interest for the general public as also as research scholars, academicians etc.
