       Advantages of NRGs
NRGs when come out from the bark or other parts
carry forward the properties of the source tree
with them in form of tannins, essential oils or other
chemicals. As most of the NRGs are produced to
counter plant injuries, they are natural antibiotic
which prevent the growth of pathogenic microbes
and promote healing. Hence most of the NRGs
find direct applications in medicines for different
ailments. NRGs mostly being biocompatible are Gondh Laddoo
nontoxic and can be used in different commodities, ranging from foods to pharmaceuticals
and cosmetics to drug delivery. Even the products developed from NRG through value
addition are easily degraded by microbes, hence they do not have any unfavorable effect
on the environmental well-being. Resins and gums from various natural sources are readily
gathered or harvested in various seasons in substantial amounts because the processes
involved in their production are mostly natural and simple. Production of some of them like
guar gum can be increased as per demand by increasing net sown area. Moreover, there
is no specialized set up or infrastructure required for producing these NRGs. These NRGs
obtained as minor forest produce from limited or rare forest resources available are unique
in nature and hence they are irreplaceable and inimitable.
