t’s a great pleasure to remember and thank all those who made this book a reality. The
Iauthors express their sincere gratitude to Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR),
for providing financial support for undertaking this work under Network Project on
harvesting, processing and value addition of natural resins and gums (NP HPVA NRG). The
authors thankfully acknowledge Director, ICAR- Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums
(IINRG), Ranchi, for his continuous guidance and the encouragement for the work and in
