Data needs to be standardized in terms of descriptors or descriptor
states for making an information system meaningfuland applicable, thereby,
enabling to generate a standardized, authentic and uniform data so that
a sound database may be developed lor exchange and utilization of the
information. I believe that the book 'Descriptors of lac insects with special
rclerencelo Ke iaspp.'would help achieve systematic characterization and
documentation ol the lac insect biodiversity.
