The PME Cell (formerly ARIS) of the
Institute caters to the computing needs of the Institute and provides web
based facilities to the Institute through a 512 kbps VSAT connectivity.
A fiber optic network connects all the Division/ Sections of the Institute
to PME Cell. The PME Cell maintains three servers namely, Mail,
Web and Proxy Servers on a LINUX Platform.
The PME Cell is open to all
the scientists as well as research scholars providing web based facilities
as well as the software needs of the Institute.
